That last line means that the servers point release version is not the same as yours you have 1.11 ..from what I remember 1.25 is the latest one but most players still use the older 1.17.

Check your IRQ`s..and/or use your Administrative tools to find what application is causing the problem.

I had a similar problem and it caused by Win2k not allowing WON to properly access the Half-Life auth file.I set authorization access to everyone that uses the PC ,for some odd reason it ran fine for several weeks then after one map change WON authentication failed repeatedly..until I changed the access [This message has been edited by Kibbles (edited 07 October 2000).]
