I have a Win2000Pro/SP1 setup using Asus P3C + Piii/933 + 256ECC RDRAM + Matrox MGA400max +Adaptec 29160 + SBLive Platinum / Drive etc After installing Soundblaster liveware 3.0 (drivers only) and Matrox lates drivers my computer cannot wake up after standby mode. Before the above driver updates (default windows sblive drivers,old mga drivers) power management worked ok but now when computer falls in standby then needs a reset. Any comments ?

J_Pro, I've already updated my Bios as well as my mga400 bios and i have the latest firmware and software drivers. I found that the problem starts when i install LIVEware 3.0 (drivers only version). Using the win2000 basic sb live drivers everything on power management works ok.

JediBaron, you're right, that's what i've done. I disabled standby power mode. I'm afraid that drivers drive me nuts

I have the following problem. My computer has Matrox G400 Max/Dh and i use their latest win2k certified driver. I also use a MS intellimouse explorer with IntelliPoint 3.2 (driver version 3.20.0.484) On many desktop apps (like VB for example) i loose mouse pointer when it comes over some dialog or form windows. The mouse works ok but the pointer stays invisible until i move it out of the specific window. I found that if i step down hardware acceleration in display properties everything works ok. Also in full acceleration if i change mouse pointer from "windows animated" that i use to non animated standard scheme then the problem dissapears. Any comments on this problem?

I see that i'm not alone Unfortunately i don't remember a problem like this one using previous Matrox beta drivers. I didn't use those programs with problem then but i'll do the test as soon as possible. PS: I was waiting for Matrox drivers six months now and finally are worst than beta ones. EXCELLENT BOYS !!!

I have PrecisionScan 2.00 but it works with many bugs under win2k and USB connection. HP don't have it or its updater online. Anybody knows about 2.01 or later.

I've bought a HP 6300C scanner five months ago and it came bundled with PrecisionScan 2.00. The problem i have is that this soft has problems under Windows 2000 PRO and USB connection. HP says that i need version 2.01 or later to use it under Win2k. My problem is that there is no update patch or anything for that in HP's site except a small "DO NOTHING" patch for win2k Update version ONLY. I could order their new CD but they have no email or online order so i must phone them (in England for us in Europe). Anybody knows if i can find PrecisionScan 2.01 or an updater online ? If you know please help because people in HP don't know what means "customer support". Thanks
