Here's my problem, I'm using Windows XP, and whenever I try to save a picture I find on the net, I get this huge delay, like I save my image, and it freezes for like 30 seconds, it's kind of annoying. And I also dont' like how the dialog box that shows up when you save images, it uses these weird thumbnails, how can I get it to just show up as regular small icons? or a list?

If you have Win2k, you can just copy those mousepointers over.

Need TV Tuner software....ATI All-In-Wonder Pro (128)
Hairball replied to Radelon's topic in Software
You can't, you will either have to go to Windows 95, 98, or ME. The drivers only work on 95/98/ME only. ATI isn't going to make drivers for NT4, but they will eventually release 2000 drivers, even though it's been a long while. I just formatted my 2000 computer and put ME on so I can watch TV on my comp, hehe. -
Specify your own IP address (and other addresses) instead of having Windows make one for you.

Disable the connection under Network and Dialup Connection settings in the Control Panel

It's fine when I join other games, so I guess I could live with it, my internet connection is better once I disabled some protocols that I don't use (Not IPX), so it's better. I guess I can live with the fact that I can join other games fine. Well I sorta have a router, since I have a server connecting to the net running ICS.

I have a question, I can't play StarCraft (or any other IPX games) on the client computers, which run Windows Me. Let me explain my situation. I run a main server with Windows 2000 Server using Internet Connection Sharing, with client computers, running Me and 2000, all connected to a single hub. I can surf the Internet, and check e-mail using the clients, but I can't play any of those IPX games. I can join games that others have created, but I can't create my own, and let others join. How can I fix this problem? I've tried "opening up" the ports under Windows 2000 Server, following the help instructions, and it's no good. Do I have to setup anything on the clients? Anyone know how? It would really help me out.
