ok, you know the next dumb question. How do i disable acpi, because it is causing a problem with my graphics card. [never mind just found out i have to reinstall windows to do it. I've got all my suff automatically set to IRQ 9 by win 2k (Geforce 2 GTS agp, a3d sound card 56k modem and 10/100 network card) I want to change my Graphics card back to IRQ 11, like i had in 98 but even when i'm logged on as adminstrator the option to use manual settings is ghosted. How do i go about changing the IRQ, if even possible?

Ok i run UT and Q3 great in OpenGl in 2000 Pro, however when i run Homeworld, i can't switch to GL (ANd D3D just plain doesn't show up as an option) Just comes back with a little message saying it was unabel to intilize the display setting. Have already posted on the Homeworld messge boards, just thought this place might be better. Set up is: Geforce 2 GTS D3 6.47 drivers Asus k7v mobo with latest 4 in 1 drivers. Direct X 8 Homeworld running the latest patch if anybody has clue what could be wrong thank you.

wild guess have you installed the latest VIA 4 in 1 drivers? The 6.34 detonators (6.27) work just as well. Is fast write DISABLED on the via agp setup?

Microsoft conviently forgot to include alot the OGL functiions in 9x in 2000, i recommend teh detonator 3 v6.34 drivers on the nvidia web site they seem to work the best.
