Giants 27 Ravens 13 the bad boys have to go down!

no doubt Eddie, you ain't the only one, I defintely think that football is just fixed and that they pick who wins the games ahead of time. I started to stop believing that, then after tonight, I'm starting to think otherwise. -
hahaha. if you bothered to look, it shows .400 files and SOME .700 files and some .436 files. The ones that are greater than 400 are the files that are new. Plus, I just finished installing Half-Life and getting all of the updates, it runs fine.

they said April, but you'll be seeing an RTM of about July or August, ready for retail in the early Fall.

Whistler 2419?? does it exist, and it is out alreayd?
jdulmage replied to Mr.Guvernment's topic in Hardware
I'll inform you before someone else...MS added in the 30-day activation policy into Whistler. But, all beta testers use the same master cd key to install it, which means, only one tester could activate if he/she chose so. Therefore, MS has to release builds quicker. And yes, it is out, I just finished getting it from MS last night. I think they are planning for bi-weekly releases now. Hell, here is some more proof.. http://dspbeta.webtoolsplus.com -
haha, raped? boy, ain't that a nice immature comment. Let me list this up here Apple - 1970's = nice GUI, far from today's standards, good job. But, these things were already made by Xerox and were popular. Macinotsh with their OS = Microsoft was the company that developed it. I quote once again "Apple needed a company to help make their graphicial user interface and Microsoft was just the company to develop it" So Microsoft helped Apple/Macintosh OS/2 = an IBM/Microsoft joint OS for a while, Microsoft splits up with IBM (good move too) and OS/2 was finished by IBM. Microsoft Windows = a creation of what Bill Gates had experienced in his life, he used a bit of Macintosh, a bit of OS/2 and so forth. The leader today. The leader cause you have no choice? don't think so, they had plenty of time to jump into Unix, OS/2 or Macintosh at the time, but people chose Microsoft. Linux = a stolen idea by some guy using his 386 computer. He took Unix and added a few little things and called it the kernel while other companies such as GNOME and KDE went out and stole Microsoft's GUI to use as their own with a few changes, but you can still tell where they got it from. All in all Microsoft has taken ideas, but from companies that they have helped or have been with at one time. Linux just stole everything without helping anyone to start with. But you have to take a bit of the best from each to develop something good. well, I think he was doing this to piss us off. He thinks that something like Linux is flawless? there are probably more holes in it, they just haven't been found. Most people don't understand why Windows has the bugs, well, it's very simple, no beta tester and no MS people found that bug during testing stages, it's eventually found and a patch comes out. It'll be much easier with Windows Whistler, because you have the option to send a bug report in, which means, service packs and patches come out faster.

firewall usually protects against that and Malicilous ActiveX is stopped by most Anti-virus software. I haven't had a major security breech on windows since 1998

i'm using the latest drivers, never have to reset the resolution. Maybe you did one of the steps wrong or something
-
I just did a benchmark, I got better marks with 8.0a DX 8.0 on a RivaTNT 16 MB PCI and 6.49 drivers = 1823 Marks DX 8.0a on the same thing = 2052 marks and I never caught it at a good time or anything, cuz I redid the test once more thinking that was wrong and it give me like 2047 or something. So it's better here. [This message has been edited by jdulmage (edited 26 January 2001).]

haha...you have to be kidding me I had to redownload Whistler and reinstall it, I had downloaded it and I guess bad download that time, next time I did it, it worked fine
-
yep...clutch... also I quote "And the revolution that Bill Gates and Steve Allen had about the microprocessor" ..uhh, that'd be about all I need to say. [This message has been edited by jdulmage (edited 25 January 2001).]

hmm, I remember having that prob with 2410, I had to redownload from MS again and it worked after that
-
I meant to say opengldrivers, I was just doing this off of the top of my head of what I remembered. but yeah, it should be opengldrivers, not opengl/drivers
-
errr, I mean.. bah, you suck!! damn it, it's too late
-
bah...they probably post this stuff up in their offices at MS anyways...just to laugh that they rule and linux never will....haha
-
no doubt, makes you look dumb, especially when you post it in an WINDOWS NT place. Cause if it wasn't for MS, you wouldn't have a PC and I can almost promise you that one. Wouldn't be a need for a PC. These things are not even funny to begin with, just dumb. If your gonna post stuff like that, you will learn to take your flaming from me.
