ok, let me ask you this then.. You install Whistler to one machine. You goto another one and install it. Whistler isn't going to know that you have already installed it, because it's not like you can put something on the CD, they are not capable of allowing changes on a CD. So how is it going to know?

you should NEVER be getting that low of FPS with Windows 2000 with a system like that one you have. I mean, i'm getting like 40 to 50 FPS at 1024x768x16 with an original RivaTNT PCI Video card. Tried DX8?? have all of the latest Windows Update patches?? What games?? Tried running 3DMark 2000 to see what it has to say?? well, how would you know how hard or not it is, do you do test runs for Microsoft with the X-Box, do you own an X-Box? probably not..most people thought that with the way the dreamcast or n64 controller looks, but it was fine in the end. In order to perform more things, you need more buttons.
