thanks all..it's just that my 3DMarks were 1858 normally and 1921 overclocked about 10 Mhz higher. I just don't think that the TNT is going to be that great for me anymore.. I'll probably go with the Voodoo 3 and run 3D Marks on that and run it for awhile just to see.

yeah, that's understandable enough...I'm glad that you said something. Forget it never happened.... I'm trying to give the best answers to any questions that I find here, sometimes I'm bias, but it's usually with Whistler vs. other windows operating system. I don't know, it just seems that it has taken me by storm and I have learned a lot about it. Anyways, sorry about this....

yeah, Down8 hasn't been friendly lately, he likes to bring up the past again...therefore, just making a fool out of me again with the OLD OLD posting I made awhile back. Now, I don't know if he is trying this Down8 vs. jdulmage thing where as we try to see which of us is the meanest or something, I haven't talked to him about that. He has some sort of a psychological problem in his mind or something, where as he hunts me down and loves me so much, he starts to save my posts. I mean, if you need help or something, I will talk to you or find you a number to a spe[censored]t that can help your problem. Just ask and it will be done for you.

well, for one thing, you have to meet the requirements. If you don't have one of those enchanced cables, for example, a UDMA 66 cable, you couldn't get DMA enabled, etc. Same goes for ATA 100 I guess. Make sure you have that type of IDE cable first.

I just thought of something, I could go back to post #1 of this thread, and edit what I said, and this would make absolutely no sense to anybody that just arrives new onto this forum....

At least benchmarking in whistler beats the **** out of any other previous windows operating system on my machine, my machine ain't that great either

yeah, if you have the pirated version, it runs fine here...

umm.. it's in the Windows Setup Update files.. it's never been a mysterious directory...
