I have an AMD XP 1800+ and when running a cpu program, I get the following: CPU AMD Athlon XP/MP/4 1500 MHz FSB 133 MHz Memory 1024 MB Why does FSB say 133 Mhz when the processor is capable of 266 Mhz? Or am I confusing something here?

I've got this old ATI Radeon 7000 64 MB, but can't ever find good drivers (ATI - what do you figure?) I was wondering what the best drivers were for games. any suggestions?

what is that fix to enable bass and treble options in Windows when it normally isn't available? It's called AC97 Tone Controls and there is a registry fix for it, but I can't remember where or how. Anyone?

I tried it on the GA board, and it shuts down after 5 seconds or so. I tried it on an Asus board and it never shuts down, but it also never puts up a bios screen either.

slap it in as a slave drive, have a primary drive in there running an OS, use the OS to format the slave drive as NTFS. Put it back as primary, boot with a Windows 2000 CD Best bet I would think.

it was an Asus V7100 GeForce 2 MX 200 Known well enough. I'll try a few more things, than i'll ditch it.

Basically what the topic says. I have a GeForce 2 MX AGP which is capable of 2X AGP, and so is my motherboard, however, it says 1X in the display properities. How do I make it 2X? Thanks

actually, latest bios is 12/10/01 and it's a beta, latest miniport is 533, latest driver pack (there is no driver pack, installing miniport + ide bus mastering is all you need) I've used latest drivers from Nvidia, both the released and beta they have on the website, it has NOTHING to do with the drivers. I simply need an answer, not critism about my hardware.

AMD chipset Gigabyte 71-XE Motherboard...there is no setting in there to set it to 2X AGP. and the card is seated just fine, and the bios is updated to the latest. Also have latest graphics drivers installed, as well as latest Miniport drivers, also latest EVERYTHING for the OS itself. Any help?

no one seems to be able to answer this. I want to hook my headset/microphone setup so that I can receiving calls through my 56k modem, like call centres do, except without having to put a headset in a phone itself. Is there a way to do this, say with a piece of software or something? Thanks

even you don't get it, lol. All I want is that when a call is incoming, I want it to travel through the phone line, and in to a headset, rather than picking up a receiver to speak. It isn't a matter of having an internet connection or not. It's just a matter of having a phone line.

DX9 Beta 2 is scheduled soon, but when it comes to anything that has to do with gaming, get the final versions only, unless you are planning to format anyways, like I have.

like i've said before, Viruses are one of the lowest forms of attack out there in my opinion. Get a good firewall, get a good a/v program, sit back and relax. I haven't had a virus cause damage to any of my systems for almost 5 years now.
