this is a smart post on my behave. Really, I was told that if there is not an uninstall feature, you must delete all of the DirectX 8.0 files manual and reinstall DirectX 7 again.

i have the latest Windows Media Player 7, which is off of Windows Millennium latest version. It runs nice and clear, most bugs are taken out of this release

HAHAHAHAHA. I'm back................. This is about that long message post where I was away and not reading them. Oh btw, i have a number of things to talk about. First of all, obviously you guys are all immature and have no lives cause you post on this message even though I was gone for the past several months. Immature?? well, because you say the stupidest things about me that are not true. Again, I was told that doing that DOS/windows thing would work, i didn't say myself that I thought of this. It was thought up already, i was just merely told this. Posting my ICQ log history is also pretty lame and immature as well. 5 pages of this crap, i stopped posting on the first page......that is also immature, unneeded and very stupid. You guys still don't realize that all of this was merely an act to get some laughs on this channel. I can continue it if you want me to, but really, i'm almost puking at this message post and at the same time i'm laughing because you guys are really lame. I really don't have much more to say.....except get a life and that's about it.

i just tried windows nt 4.0 server before i put it on my system and i didn't like it, so i'm not going to install it, i would like windows 2k better, but anyways, thanks for your help.

seriously though, those are faults that i can probably bypass, when i get my new hard drive, i think i'm going to put Windows 2000 on anyways, not sure yet, but it's hard to pass up such a stable OS like Windows 2000, so maybe i will put it on after thinking about it. Would you guys recommend a site or something where i could get lots of info on windows 2000 besides microsoft. Thanks

i'm running that sound card too, windows finds and installs it during installation of Windows 2000. To fix problems with it, go into the Device Manager, click on computer, then goto standard pc and goto the properites of it and disable PCI Steering all together and reboot, it'll fix the probs

obviously, me to the rescue again. I'm running Beta 2499 of Windows Millennium, it is just as stable as Win2k and it loads faster then it too. Also Windows Neptune has been CANCELLED, they are not bringing it out. They are instead bringing out Windows Whistler

get a K7, cause they are 100 % compatible with windows 2k.

your best bet if you want stable systems and good gaming, wait for Windows Millennium. Or if you really want to wait long, wait for Windows BlackComb (i think it's called that) which won't be out for a long time.
