no no, we need more replies to this one...there were 7 pages of replies last time I posted this wonderful fix for Windows 2000.

why is this in feedback? If you are having gaming problems, my friend once told me that if you delete all of your windows dir, msdos.sys, etc. and all of that on the C:\ and then installed DOS and THEN Windows 2000 and THEN Solaris, and THEN XP (any version), it fixes all gaming problems. Trust me...I am the best computer student in my whole student. LOL!!!

oh wait, videobruce...that's my friend, you know the one that showed me that if you installed DOS before Windows 2000, the gaming problems would be fixed. Believe me....it's him.

Brian Frank...there is a program out there that allows you to use NTFS in Windows 9x...I don't remember the name, but I'm pretty sure you can't install 9x on an NTFS, but you can convert to NTFS after you install it. My 650 Athlon ran at 57 celcius last night, but you have to remember, it's 41 degrees in my house. That was with a triple fan and heatsink too.

He is running XP, XP doesn't show any DOS related Updates like Windows 9x/Me does....so it has to be the BIOS he is speaking of.

Now that I got your attention (for those of you who remember those days).. What is the best CPU/System Temperature Monitor to use on my computer, preferably, something that can hide in the system tray with an icon that shows me the temperature. If not, then whatever you can suggest. Thanks

haha, yea...I start my computer up one day (running 250W supply on a processor recommended 300W)...the damn thing blew finally, I was talking on the phone, all of a sudden, BOOMMMMMMMMMMMM. I'm like "WTF?!?!?!"...my cousin is like "WTF?!?!?!", I ended up spending more than I should had for a 300W supply.

uhhh, what does that have to do with anything? One minute he is talking about some 12-year old kid ruining a game, the next he talks about "slowing down a system", yet he is showing us how to speed up a system. Stupid story.

Sure it does, because I've done it before. But one time, it did screw up like that. I'm just warning him of all possibilities, so that we can't be blamed
