Everytime I try to burn with Clone cd, XP reboots. WTF? I can create an image file just fine, but it's when I go to burn with it. Any thoughts?

When you delete stuff from you computer's recycle bin, XP must store it somewhere, because when you do a system restore, you can come back to a point before you even deleted it and it's still in it's original spot. So, I'm asking, where are these files stored? I accidentally deleted some stuff in a folder that I didn't know was there. I tried system restore to the next earliest spot, but it was before the creation of these files. Is there ANY way to gain these files back via temp directory or anything??? Thanks!

What do you think of WinAMP 3 Beta? Even for a beta, I think it blows...

Graphics. The graphics crack me up man. I mean, look how they pay attention to all the details on the maps, but then look at the players hand that holds the weapon. I mean, you're looking at this every moment in the game...who the hell has square fingers anymore??? C'mon. lol @ fingers.

You can't do file tranfers via ICQ anymor either. It's lame in that respect.

Sorry to post again so soon, but you guys rawk! I want to buy a vid card that supports 2 monitors. I still want to play games (of course) but also to work. I'd like a GeForce Pro if they support that. Has anyone any info or tips?

I have a GeForce 256 card, why can't I run 1024X768 in Open GL? Or even 800X600? I've got the latest NVidia drivers. What's teh scoop, my card don't run in anything but D3D in halflife or what???? Anyone?

Well I'll be dipped in sh1t. It appears the 'mouse lag' issue has returned. I have no idea. Pisses me off tho. Has anyone else besides me noticed that when you go to the console on 1/2 life, you can't even hardly type? Or chat for that matter, is it strickly a mouse issue, or perhaps something to do with the keyboard? Anyone else notice this???

Ok, well, I did the 'delete' thing in regedit, and it was exactly the same (I did not reboot yet), then I updated from 2486 to 2600, when I got back into the desktop after the install, I launched Counter Strike on Gspy and viola, it was just fine (Shrugging shoulders) Oh I must add... I completely forgot to say I installed Nvidia 12.41 drivers as well. So it could be a combo of any of these. I'm only posting because I know how much of a pain in the (_!_) it is trying to determine the prob. Good luck! 8)

Well what is so fricken wierd, is this: I am using an older install of XP:2486 to be exact. Everything has been working excellent too, until just about a week ago. I havn't upgraded my OS or anything. CS was working just fine, then all of a sudden it lags like you guys are saying. Is it something that was installed? I havn't really changed anything to my knowledge. I can't figure out why it would just start happening for no apparent reason. Any ideas?

I don't like using beta 6 because for one I can't do my online banking (doesn't allow betas) also, no java support. I have a presentation to show some misc architectural panoramas that REQUIRE plugins that won't run on Beta 6, so here's the gist of my q: Can I remove IE 6 beta, so that I might install an eirlier build of IE? (Netscape also does not work with these aplets that I need to run) What about other browsers? I'm open to suggestions.... Thanks board....

Well, I went there, but all I get is this message: "Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java." I can't find anything in settings to enable it in IE. Also, I tried clicking various things on that website to 'let me' download it. No joy Hmmm....

If anyone gets java to work, please post a download link for whatever it is I need to get it working, cuz I don't know sheot about it. Thanks

It is not listed under ADD/REMOVE. And I can't install a previous IE. I can't get java to work, that's the ONLY thing that bugs me about it. I even downloaded the java runtime blah 1.3. No joy still. Any Ideas?

Well yes, it's a very easy question for you guys. How do I copy a folder in DOS that has also more directories inside of it? When I try copy *.* it only copies files, but not folders. What is the answer? Thanks!
