Same problem... Elsa will not support W2k in further future... damn

You can play Sydney 2000 almost in Software-Mode, because that game can't detect any Direct3D-Device with DirectX8. Eidos Interactive said to me, that there will be no patch in the further future, cause the problem is DirectX and MS .... Did anybody know a solution?

And the worsest thing is, DONT USE DIRECT X8, NHL is incompatible with directx8 and with Win2k... ;-) Fifa 2001 is the same s h i t, but you can even play one game before the game crashes ;-)

me too... One nice game, but than it crashes... I use DirectX8 and NVidia 7.17 or 6.47 - Same ****!

dx8 and 7.17 don't work in direct 3D - Mode and also too bad OPEN-GL. Many new Games like NHL 2001, Sydney 2000 or Counterstrike 1.0 will not work, because they can't detect this drivers... With 6.47 no problem with OPEN-GL but Direct 3D did again not work... Great Sh$$
