I have same problem! It's came out after installing MSN Messenger. Not only icons - cursors too. They are animated, but 16 colors only (not 16K). The key in upper message do nothing in this case And if Data is set to 16, 16K colors will be used. Icons on desktop, task bar, tray, explorer - all of them in 16 color mode only! And for tray icon not redraw - takes the nearest 16's color icon from source DLL or EXE. What and where to change Thanks a lot
