bought computer with win2k installed wanted to partition and dual boot 98 and 2k...now i have a formatted 45gig hard drive that i cant get win2k to install.. it always says i dont have a hard drive or hard drive controller. i have the install cd and the 4 boot disks. any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the info one other thing the computer doesnt come with a modem...i have an external usb now do you think it will work under win 2000

just ordered a new computer with windows 2000 on it ... reading the forum trying to pick up on some info as i no nothing of the os is it as complicated as it appears to a novice? how much harder to learn than win 98? ------------------ a7v 1.1gig
