It's not a UK supplier but you might be able to find the same product in the UK somewhere. http://www.twacomm.com/Catalog/Model_IC107PP8VB.htm?SID=438S254MJSBW9KX5EHDWJ2EHPVME05D1

I have also found that liveupdate does not work with 8.1, I have followed the instructions on the symantec web site to run a script daily to update the virus definitions. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download/pages/US-SAVCE.html click on the How to update virus definitions for Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. hope the info helps

Are there any chipset drivers for the AMD 760MPX under windows 2003 server. I just bought a Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW-P board, I see AMD has chipset drivers for win 2000 should I install those or should I not worry about installing any chipset drivers? Just curious because this is my first AMD chipset board, I'm used to the VIA chipset and have always used thier 4-in-1 drivers. Thanks in advance for any advice/recomendations

Downloaded and installed the ALSA drivers.. nothing changed... since I am using 9.1 beta, i'll wait until the final comes out and try it again. Does anyone know if the final 9.1 will have the new BTTV 0.9.X and/or video for Linux 2 (v4l2) included? I have tried installing these in the beta version but was unsuccesful.. Anyway the final should be out soon so I will post back here what the outcome is once I install it. thanks again for the advice

I appreciate your response. I believe you are right about the tuner type=2. I tried adding the lines to the modules.conf file in \etc - rebooted and had the same problem. Oh well

Diamond DTV2000 (BT484) and Sound Blaster PCI128 (CT5880). Both Xaw TV & Zapping, Video is OK but I'm having audio trouble.. As soon as linux boots up I hear the audio from the TV tuner. Audio is also poor, as I'm scrolling through channels the volume changes and sometimes its mono sometimes its stereo sometimes its so low you can't hear it unless you crank the speakers. When I close the TV App I can still here the tv sound. Dual boot system Win98 and Mandrake 9.1 RC2.. Tuner works fine in win98. Anybody have a suggestions? I'm fairly new to Linux and have searched google groups but couldn't find anything.. Doug

I was using weathbug but Ad-Aware says it is spyware, so I had it remove it.

Anyone try installing AdminPak after installing Service Pack 1 (beta) on XP Pro? I'm getting a message that its not the right version. Just wondering if there is a newer version of adminpak than beta 3.

Trillian is definatly the best.. If you want something really simple try imici. This also does chat for AOL, MSN, YHOO, & ICQ chat only no file transfer. Very plain and simple interface.

I have this audio chipset on the SOYO Dragon Plus. It's OK for playback but don't plan on doing any recording with it. I was getting really poor recording quality on the line in, and when I searched Deja.com for help, I found that I was not the only one. I have now disabled the onboard sound and went back to my Sound Blaster 5.1 Live.

I did the update driver process, Install from specific location(advanced), and then dont search I will choose the driver, and then have disk. Browse to the location of the windows 2000 drivers. I remember having problems with this, it seems like i did it a few times and then it eventually took and found my scsi devices on boot up.
