if there are more available in your area (Tabs are localised) then Open the main Messenger window, and near the bottom on the left is a small picture of 3 tab windows if you hover the mouse over that it should say show/hide tabs just clik that and select what you want.

no its definetly a bug in WMP9 just tried it there with a movie I made, and you can only skip once the next time it goes to the beginning, Plus the Total Running time was way off, 345 hrs instead of the 90 minutes it should be :'(

2 Questions today 1) Not sure if this is a fault at my end or my ISP's but since Wedensday i have been experiencing some really slow http browsing sometimes upto 10 minutes to get a single webpage I use IE6 under XP Pro, and have Norton Personnel Firewall (no difference to browsing if enabled or disabled) i have a 512K NTL Cable Service. I think the problem is more at my end because my Laptop shares the cable Modem via a wireless network, and that access the pages at the usual fast rate, plus if i use Opera on the Desktop i can access pages really fast. But i haven't changed any settings so have no idea why its started doing this. 2) Not too important though i used to use the tabs in MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger in the main window down the left habd side there used to be tabs with options like Expedia, UK Goverment and MSN Money/Stock Tracker those have now disappeared on my copy, any ideas on how to get them back, the help files said there is an option under Tools but its not there on mine. Any Help appreciated Thanks.

hi, i forgot i had posted this i had defrag'd the drive no joy, i managed to fix it by rolling the system back 2 weeks.

On the Latest Results page you have Conflict Desert Storm listed as working for XP, any idea where the person got a copy because the game ins't out till September, and the Demo is next month on the UK Offical XBOX Magazine (no idea when for PC) it also says "May require 1.06 patch available from " theres no patch either The only 2 sites i know about for the game are Offical Site and the 1 fan site i know is the one i am developing (slowly) Fan Site and neither list any PC Demo ect. Hi have a small problem with my GA-8IRXP and Geforce 4 4400 from creative, i dont get good frame rates Ran the following benchmarks 3D MArk 2001 SE and got 4400 and GL Mark gave me an average of 21 FPS. Using FRAPS in flashpoint i get 14 FPS, Jedi Knight 2 only 18 fps and comanche 4 gets me 20 fps. demo for SOF 2, and the columbia map plays fine at 20-30 fps but the ship one plays at 1-4 fps outside and 10-15 fps inside Now i usually run with all options enabled, and at 1024*768*32 I have a P4 1.7 with 512MB RAM and shutting everything down doesn't help at all. I have XP and the 28.32 drivers. Soundcard is a SB Audigy. Any ideas on improving performance? i was getting better results with my Geforce 2 Pro! Thanks

got the latest BIOS. as far as i remember i installed the Intel ini files, maybe i never did cant remember 100% now UPDATE: In device Manager the Intel® 82845 Processor to AGP controller has a driver date of 01/07/2001 singed by Microsoft Windows XP Publisher so guess i never installed the ini file

retail box set dont get me wrong all applications run fine and no crashes ect just abit worried about the high temperature, the fan seems to do 4400 rpm's constantly. Checked the HSU (man its a pain to get in there ) seems to be sitting on the CPU ok, cant move it and its locked down good, tried removing and resitting no luck there. Would a better HSU help?

i only have the heat sink that came with it and the Main fan in the case at the back and a small one at the front. Saying that the case is sold as a P4 compatible case but everything is really crowded. Someone suggested the heatsink is on the wrong way but i dont see how, it is pluged into the board and attached o the CPU and Retension Mechannisms

ouch! i have a P4 1.7 and a GA-8IRXP and the CPU runs at 60-65 degrees constantly :'(

other alternative is if you dont plan to play online is run a firewall and set MOH:AA to Blocked, as far as i know this is a known bug in the game which they either cant or wont fix based on reports from just after the games release.

Hi all I just got an Audigy Soundcard and am already regreating my purchase First up System Specs: Windows XP Pro Geforce 2 Pro 512MB RAM Pentium 4 1.7Ghz Audigy Platinum ex. In games if i select Hardware Mode for sound, i loose all sound in the game. In games that include EAX 2.0 or 3.0 Options as well as hardware support I loose all sound when i enter a Building. E.g. Shadow Force Razor Unit all sound is lost when entering any area with walls around you on 4 sides. I have a Desktop thearter 5.1 Digital Speaker system. Any Help appreciated.

Hi all, i hope someone can help me out. I have Windows XP Pro installed with IE6 and a NTL Cable Modem. Protecting the system i have Norton Personnel Firewall and IE seetings are set to medium. On 60% of all websites i get a cannot find server message. On windows Update I get 2 problems. 1) Windows Update gets to 75% and stops working. 2) It gets to 100% with updates and generates a cannot find server message when any link is clicked. I have reset the Defaults in IE6, Set the Temp folder to 10MB, Deleted all files in Temp Internet Folder including cookies. Cleared Downloaded programs list all to no avail evan a reinstall of XP never worked. Any Help Appreciated.

can someone recommend a good motherboard manufacturer other than Giga-Byte for a penium 4 Motherboard. I am looking for one with 4 SDRAM Slots, 5-6 PCI Slots and 1 AGP slot, I dont want DDR RAM ect as I have 1 GB of SDRAM and dont really want to waste it Any Help Appreciated.

i know i should get DDR but its the cost thats putting me off, and what would i do with the 1GB of SDRAM i have no use for it if the new MB doesn't support it Thanks for the advice, I will look into the Motherboards sugested.

last time i played it it worked fine under XP, no bugs other than what they know about (Joysticks not working ect)

Help I just bought a Hub to connect my Laptop and Desktop (both running XP) on the laptop everything looks good, except it wont access the net or the desktop the Desktop can access the net, but when I go to view the workgroup on the desktop I get this message: "Home is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions the list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available." Any Ideas on how to fix this, I am logged in as Admin. Thanks

thanks guys figured it out, I had to give special permission to the internal IP addy so the firewall would allow connections.

i have Norton Personnel Firewall installed at the moment.
