More than likely you are having hw conflicts and Xp is trying to sort things out or its network issues trying to get an ip address possibly and not getting it very fast..Try a reinstall with vid card only and check boot times then add back hw till something puts the kibash on it...or sorts out..check irq sharing and make sure you dont install cards where anything is shared if at all possible...

i am getting tcp netget packet error and wsae connection reset errors in win2k when someone leaves a q2 game causing the game to crash back to the console i have seen another post on this issue from someone else any ideas? running win2k serpak 1 cable modem

i am running a 550e @ 770 in win2k and no crashes or reboots......using retail hsf......

running win2k ser pack 1 getting weird crashes when someone leaves a game...net get packet errors and wsae connectreset error messages didnt get this problem on 98 running a cable modem also sometimes when i join a game i get this i reconnect and i get in any ideas? the game doesnt crash just loses the connection i can restart immediately.....

getting floppy drive errors in nt4.0 replace drive no help error message is invalid parameter....bios settings are normal,funny part is can boot to the drive works in dos but nt is giving error upon drive access, once again.....invalid parameter....,any ideas?

go with the voodoo run a time demo in q2 or q3 using the tnt then the voodoo, the voodoo will smoke it....also you can oc that card quite easily and gain another 20% increase in speed.plus your gonna be able to run Glide and thats a plus

you have to put the ctrpanel dll from say 6.31 drivers in your 6.66 folder then reinstall

have tried several diff disks keep getting same error in windows.........

boot to the cd and run repair win2k see if that helps

uh my geforce ddr card just got a 5131 in win2k on a 550 @770 128 meg ram way faster than a bought out 3dfx card girls

upgrade the server to win2k server then promote it to bdc

striping splits the data so the drives add together dood,,two 30s = 60 gig just writes to both at same time....

in a word..........no win2k mcp

try the new 6.66 drivers they raised my 3dmark score 1000 points hehe

ARRGGh i have screwed up my pagefile somehow,i keep getting low virtual mem errors i reset the pagefile to say 196 and 196 and reboot and get the whole thing over again at bootup i have booted to the cd and did all repairs from recovery console already no help there cannot find pagefile.sys on search of computer any ideas?
