zonealarm pro Vs Mcafee Firewall 4.0
Mr.Guvernment replied to Radioactive Frog's topic in Everything New Technology
u get what you pay for Mcafee normally cost money - and frankly - unless you have an old system - the resources it uses should not be noticable. -
AHHH! yes exactly we do not run our mail server from this IP - it is hosted by a 3rd company - and we do our own mailing lists but send it out from the email address of the 3rd party company. shall have to see what ic an do - thnx!
-
well, basically @joeblwo.com email provider says they will not accept the email i am sending to them because there are no results for a reverse lookup, or a PTR record for my IP address. now the IP i am sending from is not the same IP as our mail servers.

Hey all! does anyone know of an email client / system that will allow multiple people to access one email account and... Basically we have 3 computers that we want to handle support emails - we want all 3 people to be able to check the one address say support@support.com and answer emails, but this will also show say Bob that joe answered an email so they do not asnwer it. i guess i want a "profesional" email client / system as if this was a proper buisness support system...... Cost is but isnt an issue - depends on how useful i can show that this new software would be. Currently we use Outlook and only 1 person can access the pst.file at a time. We need a solution that will allow multiple people to answer emails from one accout but will not let people answer emails that have already been handled..... have i cunfused anyone yet?

Email Client / software that can................
Mr.Guvernment replied to Mr.Guvernment's topic in Slack Space
^^ shall check those out right now we have our own made PHP /MySQL system in place - we looked at thing like HEAT - but the price was pretty high for what it could do. the thing with our PHP system is we manually put in th tickets our self for a person, which is not hard = - but now the PHP man is looking into IMAP for some reason (even though ia lready have an email server going) but i understand that IMAP can allow multiple people to access to one email file. but yes, basiclly we need CSR or what ever software, but want something that is flexible and more so uses some type of MySQL database that we could combine into our current system. -

The worm, dubbed Blaster but also known as LoveSan or MSBlaster, carried a message for the Microsoft chairman: "Billy Gates why do you make this possible? Stop making money and fix your software!!" Blaster, which zeroes in on Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating software, has been timed to attack a Microsoft security Web site distributing the patch needed to stop the worm in its tracks before it hits millions of users.

Not everyone wastes, err, spends as much time surfing the web as I do. lol we all have or days - it is understandable as some people (i am guilty) have posted things that have bee posted before and it is a waste - i tend to try and look through a forum thought to see if i see a post alreayd, if not, then i post

Quote: Well you could change your printer to a Epson Stylus Photo 900 printer. It can print on cd's as well as print your documents. Now there is an idea, got a new digital camera now so want a better one then my C82. -

Email Client / software that can................
Mr.Guvernment replied to Mr.Guvernment's topic in Slack Space
kew now exchange does that not just do an email server? well i guess that is what i need is a "central" system that will server out unread emails and track what has been asnwered already so basically everyones inbox and sent items looks identical. So if i answered and email in my system, it would then show in your system as read type thing _ -

Quote: there are plenty of softmods to do a 9500 to 9700 conversion. As for that tom's hardware review hrmm he tested like 7 or 8 nVidia cards and only 3 ATi cards. TH is always biased toward nVidia products. ATi is a better card handsdown. Their drivers are better, their cards are faster, and cheaper. The 9700 pro is a great card especially now that you can get it for less than $300. I paid $200 for my 9500 pro and im satisfied with that. Im never going to buy another nVidia card again, especially after the omega drive fiasco. Their chipsets though is a different story... god the omega thing, what a joke!!!
