i thought 2k and Xp use a diff version of ntfs as well/ like 5 and 5.1? i know once i had issues putting an XP formated NTFS drive into 2k it would not pick it up.
-
compatibility. and dont say "oh but sites like toms use 2k in benchmarks - they often use 2k for other reason, such as drivers or something that is not availible under XP. Xp has better compatibility as it was not made specifically for the office.

Hey all i am in the market for a Switch it needs to be @ least 10 port - 100base switch. we currently have a hub from a router - but the router is a router/hub, no switch and frankly the amount of times the red traffic light it on is almost constatnly, so i want to invest in a switch to take off some traffic as our network is slow!!! So, any advice on a good Switch that has @ least 10 ports and is 100base?

When ulook into that power supply - look at the 3.3 +5 v output - get one that is over 200 and u should be fine! i beleive P4's require a min of 180 to run fine.

lets ee today! got some spare parts so i need to buy! 1 USB card (for a old celeron 366 system - soon to be a cahce dns) - no mouse are and uses ancietn fat keyboard plug) Possibly i p4, prob 2.4 for some spare parts already got a p4s533 / 8500 radeon/ 512 pc2100 / 40g HD lying around might as well put it to use. new case for it. cdrom drive dam, my list just got more expensive! -
DirectX 9, Gefore 4, and WinXP
Mr.Guvernment replied to Morokiane's topic in Everything New Technology
the nature scene is PURE GPU pocessing - so could be low AGP voltage / bad card. also g4 cards are not Dx9 compliant - or do not support it, could be why 2003 freezes, although it runs fine for my ti4600. -
so when the FBi busst down your door and takes your comp - they log on in and see how many cds u burned for that i think they would also want something that would record the contens of what you burned as well. mm, there is an idea "a program that: 1. counts how many cds you burned 2. size cd - 650 - 700 - dvdr 3, how much room was used 4. a listing of all files burned to the cd. This then creates a giant catalogue of them all! mm, i got to copy right this idea!
