yes - but i am using windows XP and Office XP but either way - i think is was bad memory or memory slot as i seemed to often get bad start up errors which MS said was due to bad memory or memory slots on the mobo. -
and memory is SO cheap now a days - especially if u still got pc133 or lower - just go buy more heck - even DDR is fairly cheap as well.

yes a PCI card will be better then an onboard as it likely has more control options as oppsed to an onboard - but it also depends what u are using the sound card for.

check out the specs, chances are the clock speeds are the same as the stadard Nvidia specs. it is likely the same card as ASUS , or leadtek have - they just add extra software and crap to the bundled package.

lol i just got one in my new dell (see NEW WORK COMP) UT2003 - all effects to MAX and res @ 1600 x 1200 - did not even dent it - where as i got my VAIO - with a g4 4600m ultra - 1600 x 1200 - man, major lag - but likely cause of the pc133 memory

yeah - check IRQ - use msconfig to turn off all start up items what progs u got starting up with windows? (in your system tray) check out start / run / msconfig / startup - and uncehck all items, then reboot and try. -
welllll just got my new dell put in max payne got a new p4 2.4 / ati 9700 pro / santa cruise card i put it into any resolution abover 640 x 480 it crashes while loading the first stage - whether i use hardware - or software for the vid card.

is it USB or game port version of the wheel? i know XP doe snot like gaem port controllers for some reason - or at least it seems with MS sidewinders and such - XP only seems to like USB devices.

wtf is the point of cheats - make the game NO fun - if you can't finish it - get better...lol cheats - well my opinion - are for those who are too ......mmmmmmmmmm lazy to learn to play the game (no offence intended)

Netbios is not defualt installed anyways in XP - or at least not in any installation i have done. -

well, the backup part igot down pretty much as all my info and stuff i need is linked onto another parition. i most always use thesame apps, and i had the b.s.o.d's even afetr a clean install with only Office put in. But yeha, ohw ell, seems to have gone away, but is always nice to know why it was doing that. -

Xvid is better quality - hence why it is the newest codec..lol i watched Signs Xvid release i got a hold of, and the quality was incredible! compared to numerous and i mean NUMEROUS divX releases ihave.,

Works on Xp with both ym Vaio and old work comp below TNT2 - work G4 4600 ultra - vaio both runnning XP pro. and various driver - work comp also used SB live valus with latest drivers and it worked fine for me.

i used to get this error often - even just sitting there staring at my desktop - BAM! B.S.O.D with that error. i then went back to 28.** drivers and no probs. - for a while 0 then started again! anyways, one day it just stopped! so no clue what it was for me. as i format so often and try out so many new apps.
