lol tried hook'n up wth he m8, i am not so concerned bout the 'consulting' part as opposed to the repair part and stuff nad if i do any consulting it will just be fo r..well simpler stuff, liek for upgrades adn stuff and what to buy adn not buy thas all

i make my own and make em to fit my desktop etc etc so my icons are on kew grpahics kind of things otehrwsie i go to digitalblasphemy which well rules for the digital pics (i should have some of mine up there soon)

okay, out of no where once day my computa decide to give theses errors now EVERY time i reboot. yeppers i am aware of that one 8m, actually i sat here all night, checke stuff out, and it turns out that the dsn server wasn't confgiured right , so all seems okay now

does it time out while try'n to list the dir? Perhaps the ftp has no 'main dir' or any folders in the 'main dir'??, can u give us the ftp info? or let other u know try it, does it work for them? okay possible solutions: 1.try loging into the ftp while in 'passive mode' and try with 'passive mode' disabled 2. is this an ftp someone gave u (persoanl)?? did they give u permission to 'list dir' and Subdir+ ?? if not then u cannot browse nor see any dir in the ftp?? What port is the ftp on? your ISP may have blocked any ports besides the standard used one, have seen this happening alot lately with friends of mine.... ICQ me if u need to.. more compatible with winME?? if it worked in 98 it works in winME it is all 9x CRAP!!!!! i have tried it all, but yes persoanl preference is all that matters, as well it also depends what u use your computer for! well i know that this 'registration' is already active or was in the one of the first release of whislter that got out, it was cracked and fixed a.s.a.p and u can block it with your firewall fine!, if anythign i can see it beign like q3 or HL, as in it is 1 key per user and each key can only be registered once etc etc blah blah!!! we all knwo how this works, and i can see it happening with this o/s, or as also previously mention by MS, they have the idea of offering software as a 'subscribed' service, as in u pay a fee to use the soaftware as u need off of dam fast servers (basically an application server), etc etc and it is alwasy updated for u, u merely pay your fee's and u got access to it, literally having no software on your computer, this is also a future dream of MS, frankl;y i can't see it happning!! if i got software i want the dam cd in my hands!!! anyways l8's for now ------------------ ========================= ICQ me!!! ========Specs======== ASUS P3V4X VARIOUS O/C SETTINGS PIII 533 @ 640 133fsb PIII 533 @ 584 150fsb 384mb PC133 20gIBM 7200 rpm 40g MAxtor 7200rpm Sound Blaster LIVE!!!
