you should just go buy a floppy they are only $5-$10 then your problems are solved bumm the money off friends if you have to that always worked for me..

In my preference once you get all the bugs worked out with "windows Me" you will it can be a stable operating system / the only thing is that more company need to make there programs more compatible with "Windows Me" But I think EddiE314 said it best when he said it is personal preference"it is what it is"

On Windows Me for any standard modem you be able to just install the standard 56k v90 modem drivers to make it work / At least give it a try and see how things works out.
