I have 2 questions First one is i am looking too get a new system am would like some input as to what chip two buy the PIII or the Athlon. I have heard good and bad on the Athlon? and i don't want a P4. Second is what is overclocking and can it be done to my PIII600eb is it just a matter of jumper settings and what are the pros and cons of it?

Win 2000 goes to a blue screen with a memory dump for no aparent reason any ideas. I thought i read somthing about pageing files? What should they be i have 392 meg of ram with 3 hard drives one is a 30 gig with 3 partitions the second is a 20 gig no partitions and the 3rd is a 9 gig scsi no partition where should the paging file be and how big?

Can someone please tell me how i can stop all thoses pop up windows form coming up. Shut one down 2 more come up i have tryed all the programs to try to stop it but none of them work. Is there another way???

I have a question on setting up Two Operating systems.From a Base 30 Gig drive should i partition it in 2 or should i partition 2 6 gig partitions for the os's and the rest for programs? Also why do you need seperate partitions for each operating system what problems could i have?

I am getting ready to set up an in home network and would like to know if anyone has used either a wireless system or one that uses a phone line? If so which is better an how difficult to set up. I will be useing a Linksys router to conect my computer to my cable connection. Thanks in advance for any help

What batch file do you use to play games i can't get many games to work in 2000 is there a fix for that? Has anyone gotten this game to work in windows 2000?

I tryed installing my Ati all in wonder pro with win 2000 and it worked one time then when i try to watch tv the screen just hangs there with sound? Is there a fix for this?

Can someone tell me if there is a way to get the icon on the bottom of my laptop that says network cable unpluged.
