    FIFA 2002 Installation problem

    Hi! I'm trying to install FIFA 2002. When the status bar reaches up to a certain limit and it is trying to copy the file dx7z.dll I get a popup asking me if I really want to abort the installation. If I choose no the installation starts over again and the same problem occurs. I reckon this has something to do with directX 7 or something. I can't find a solution to this matter myself. I have a Vodoo3 card with the latest drivers that I've found (dated november 2001). 256mb ram, 500mhz Intel and directX 8. I appreciate all suggestions, Erik

    Thief gold & Install problem

    Can't install Thief gold on win2k pro. Get the error message that the game is not NT compatible. Tried with apcompat but that doesn't help. Config. Win2k pro SP1 Oct compat update 500 MHZ 256 MB Sdram 20 gb IBM 3dfx Vodoo 3 Everywhere I look I find that the game should work under win2k. Is there a trick I don't know about. E
