Nope. If Asus didn't say, you probably should check AMDMB for that info in the forums under the Asus section.

That's cuz they're never gonna release it, y'know. That game has been in development for how many years? 8 or something. If that's really true, they're gonna be hurting in the sales department.
-
I actually got the same suggestion from a sales rep at one of the local PC shops. I dunno, as I'd kinda like to have keychains from the HPT370 controller, the Apollo Pro 133A and the 686B chips. I'd really like that...of course blowing some caps on the board would be cool too, hehehehehehehe:D

Bravo! My server's been running quite well too, although I'll have to add a bigger case if we add any more drives at all. Meanwhile, I'm contemplating how to destroy my VP6. Death to Abit!
-
Hmmm, I'll have to check that out too. I've just been using the good ol, PnP Monitor on my machines, but I'm all for a driver.
-
Typically, if you don't really need it, it's just as well to leave the BIOS the way it is. Well, "good luck...you're gonna need it."
-
Bingo! It's the NV17, and is much closer to the NV15 lineup (GF2) than NV25. The GF4 MX simply appears to be the latest in the GF2 lineup--under a different name.

Okay, check out the BIOS Central and see what they have to say, especially the forums.

Oh, I'd love to be the bearer of some good news, but unfortunately, things don't look really good for you. You should've stopped before stupidity #2. It's been awhile since I saw something like this, but you may be able to save your neck yet. The bad news is, I don't remember the thread exactly and it's been at least 6 months since it happened. I do seem to recall clutch having some input on it however. Failing that, you're looking at a new BIOS chip, if Soyo will/can send you one, or at the worst case scenario, a new mobo:(
-
It's annoying, and the mods have locked one of the double threads in the past. It would be courteous instead of double posting to just link to the one post. I know it sounds dumb, but that's the unoffically proper way to do that.

Had mine not died, I'd still be running an 8500. Very good card.

Just a friendly reminder that you don't need to cross post;)

Best way to do a "clean" install for my new SB Aud
Brian Frank replied to DARTH maul's topic in Hardware
Uninstall all of Creative's stuff first, shut down machine, swap Live! with Audigy, restart, install Audigy software. -
Oh, goodie. Another Monty Python fan. "Right!"

I can't think of it, but I do know of a nice way to disable a bunch of stuff, including that POS Windows Messenger. Type "gpedit.msc" (no quotes) into the line from the run box. Under Admininstrative Templates, you'll have a bunch of options on what to disable.

But I have some guy telling me that you can install 98 on an NTFS partition. Here's his solution: use the Win2k or XP disc to format the partition to NTFS then cancel the install. Install 98 as usual. Yeah right. Unless he's got a that NTFS-DOS tool or something, it can't be done. That or one of us has had a little too much mary jane.

Agreed. You really ought to save up some more and get some RDRAM or DDR and a motherboard to go with it. You're gonna be seriously castrating the performance of the P4.
-
Yup. Nvidia's getting full of themselves...
-
Are you getting instability? If so, I suggest getting the Vantec CCK-6027D. Yes, I've said it before, but this is a very good, well made and cheap cooler.5500RPM fan, so it's not too loud. I know the next two upgrades I'm getting are: an Iwill DVD266u-RN to replace my POS Abit VP6 (death to Abit!!!) and a Samsung 955DF flat-screen .20 19" monitor.
-
Yup. It don't work. I'll have a good yuk when he comes up with a response. He claims he'll "school" me on how to do it. It's even funnier when you add that an MCSE told him it was impossible.
-
Did you change drivers?
-
It's not just you. I'm just tired of hearing people point fingers at Via for their problems. Try the memory if you can, and look at the BIOS options. You've tried installing the 4-in-1's, right? I've heard that Soyo's mobo's have a pretty high failure rate: one guy said 2 out of 20 were good. The boards are good, when you get a good one, but the rest are trash. I know that's not comforting, but I haven't heard many good things about Soyo.
