FS/T: Various PCMCIA cards and accessories
spazzwig replied to spazzwig's topic in Buy, Sell or Trade
Xircom 33.6 modem SOLD -
I have a variety of extra PCMCIA stuff that I really don't need, and I could definitely use the money... here's a list (the values are from checking retail prices on sites like pricewatch.com, then dropping them a bit to reflect use... I put them there for reference, but feel free to make an offer on anything you're interested in): Xircom Token Ring Adapter IIps (fairly unusual card) approx. value: $100 Xircom 33.6 modem (run of the mill pc card modem) approx. value: $10 --SOLD Cardinal 28.8 v.34 faxmodem (ditto) approx. value: $10 Integral Peripherals 170MB pcmcia hard disk drive (fairly unusual, originally used in very high end digital camera, before flash cards became popular) approx. value: $150 Microtech SCSI PCMCIA card reader/writer (for desktop pc's, fits in 3.5" drive bay, has two card slots (one type I/II, one type I/II/III), fits a 50pin scsi cable.) approx. value: $130 --- Additional info about the Microtech card reader... This is an excellent device to have for use to share laptop peripherals with your home or work desktop computer(s) as the computer it's installed in can use any pcmcia device, or with a digital camera (it reads smartmedia cards and flash cards, or if you have a very high end digital camera, the pcmcia hard drives that they use (like the one I'm selling)...), there are other uses too, it gives a great amount of flexibility--- Make an offer on anything you're interested in, or I'll sell everything together for $275 obo (over $100 less than the combined value). Or if you have something to trade... I'm looking for: High quality 19in. monitor (1600x1200 @ 75hz or better) Current generation vid card (eg. Radeon (ideal) or GeForce2) ??? ...(make an offer, anything interesting considered, doesn't have to be computer related) If interested, write at the addy below, or respond here, I'll check back daily. If you're not local I have billpoint and paypal accounts, or we can work something else out, I'm pretty flexible. thanks, Gabe stuff [at] azonis [dot] com (don't forget to fix the email, but you all knew that right? ) p.s. feel free to pricecheck me on any of this, I calculated the value as much as I could using pricewatch et al. I'm a bit new to this so suggestions are welcome. EDIT: asking price for all combined, update on items [This message has been edited by spazzwig (edited 22 January 2001).]

FS/T: hot swap hard drive carriers (kingston dataexpress 100
spazzwig posted a topic in Buy, Sell or Trade
These are very rugged and high quality caddy's, and are very useful for RAID, server, benchmark or testing, backup, etc. Basically any situation where hard drives, multiple OS's or configurations, or data needs to be shuffled around easily. I played with one of these, it's very cool and I think very useful for someone with the right setup. I have little need as I just run one machine. Other than the one I tested out, they are new/never used. You can find out more info on them from Kingston/Storcase Kingston Data Express model DE100i-sw (16bit(68pin) wide scsi) frames and carriers: 2 receiving frames (one new/never used, one mint/barely used) - both include the solenoid lock (DXSOL/LOCK) and hotswap (DX1/200-SW160/RH) add-on options. 4 drive caddy's (two new/never used, two mint/barely used) I'm asking $450.00/obo (to buy all this new would cost approx. $650-$700 according to results from pricewatch) p.s. If you want, I can also throw in (no extra charge) 2 as-is 4gig Seagate Barracuda ultra wide scsi hard drives (4LP family, model# ST34371W) and 1 as-is 2gig Seagate Barracuda ultra wide scsi hard drives (2LP family, model# ST32550W) If interested, write at the addy below (or reply here, I will be checking back daily). I've been an NT Compatible reader for a long time, but this is my first time out in the forums, and the second time I've sold anything online. The following seem to be the best ways to do things, but I'm open to suggestions... If you're not local I have billpoint and paypal accounts, or we can work something else out, I'm pretty flexible. Also, I might consider trades... make me an offer. Some things I'm looking for: High quality 19in. monitor (1600x1200 @ 75hz or better) Current generation vid card (eg. Radeon (ideal) or GeForce2) ??? ...(make an offer, anything interesting considered, doesn't have to be computer related) thanks, Gabe stuff [at] azonis [dot] com (don't forget to fix the email - change [at] and [dot] to the correct characters)
