I got myself a copy of the full version and the same problem. This is the strangest thing I have ever experienced. There must be some fault in the programming of OF. I am sure it is not a driver related problem.

I have a weird problem. When I start the OF demo, all the logos are completely distorted and after sometime, my machine locks up and then causes a memmory dump. It then restarts my machine. OK, don't laugh. I am using an ATI RAGE PRO, p3 650, 256 RAM and win2k, DX 8.0a. I am using a modified version of the IBM 5020 Rage Mobility drivers for win2k. However, when I use any other drivers, the game runs fine. The reason I want to use the IBM drivers is that they display textures in all other games perfectly. SO, why does this happen with only these drivers with Operation Flashpoint. This is the only game which does this and so must be a game related problem - not driver related. PLEASE HELP.

DosFreak, Where can I get the Whistler Compatibility Kit and is it meant for win2k? Or do you mean a separate kit for Windows Whistler (ie. quivalent of the win2k compatibility kit for windows whistler)

When you select to run a program under the win95 compatability layer under sp2 in win2k, does this even do anything? Is this the equivalent of running the program under win95? If anything all my games have become slower when running under this mode.

How can you change the resolution in this game without being booted back to the desktop? Each time I click on a different resolution than 320, 240 it says do you want to restart now, and when I select yes, it just boots back to windows. In the cfg file it says failed to set up full screen. Any way to fix this? Also, can you change the resolution outside the game? Ie. in a cfg file somewhere?

Help, when I play this game I can only see one color - brown. Everything is brown. Here are my sys specs : WIN2K PRO P3 450 128 RAM ATI RAGE PRO 8M DX 8 Please help.

Another guy on the NLSC forum said he got it working but with slightly distorted graphics and he provided pics to prove it. Since the demo works, and you try copying the demo nbawin.exe file into the full game directory the full game also works but with only the features of the demo. So, the problem is occuring b/c of a coding problem in the .exe file of the full version. If only we knew how to crack the demo nbawin.exe to allow the full features of the game, then our win2k problem would be solved. How we do this, I have no idea. Any thoughts?

What's the progress with NBA2K1 and win2k?

What's the progress with NBA2K1 and win2k? For me, when I click on nbawin.exe all I get is the NBA logo and then get booted back to windows. No error, nothing. Since you can get NBA LIVE 2001 demo to run under win2k, can't you copy some of the demo files over into the full version? Also, since NHL 2001 and FIFA 2001 work, don't the NBA, NHL AND FIFA games have common files? Can't you copy say certain FIFA files into the NBA game to make it work? Could someone please respond to the progress with this game under win2k? I really want to play it bad.
