    Logitech Mice

As far as Win2K and gaming go, I am quite satisfied with how most of my games perform as compared with Win9x with one exception...Logitech mouse drivers. On multiple installations of Win2K with all recent Win2K mouse drivers, I get an odd problem - I cannot have any two mouse buttons engaged at the same time. This may seem trivial, but anyone who sidesteps or zooms view at the same time that they fire will understand the problem. I will be moving smoothly sideways but when I fire, I suddenly pivot instead of sidetep OR I lose the zoomed view when I fire. I have written Logitech numerous times asking if they intend to address this, but all I get is boilerplate answers. I am very disappointed in the state of support and product quality lately at Logitech. Their "gaming mice" don't last through a month of hard gaming before mouse 1 fails and their drivers for same seem to get buggier by the day. I would love to use Win2K as my everyday OS but this one issue is holding me back. I have never had a game crash to the desktop or lock up in Win2K. Win9x let's this happen multiple times/day. You may ask why I need to use Logitech mice. Well, I love 3-button mice and cannot find many of those. I also do not like optical mice for gaming, although I may be forced to go that route and the USB one. I don't expect anyone here to know how to fix this problem. I just needed to sound off. Bill
