Yes the svchost.exe file tries to send something to microsoft, you can see this if you have a firewall (although windows xp own firewall automatically allows this connection)

I have an Aver TV Phone video/radio capture card from www.aver.com and it doesnt work on Win XP The drivers works but the software that shows the tv and radio input doesnt work I tried the windows 9x and windows 200 drivers and the software always says In FindAMCrossbar(): Cannot find the interface of IAMCrossBar! Theres only one button "OK" and when i click it, the program crashes The card works with the MoreTV program which i found on the internet but that program doesnt let me use the radio part of the card Does anyone know if there is any programs that will let me use the radio part of this card? When i boot to windows me the card works perfectly with the win9x software ---------------- Eric
