It looks like a power saving conflict as Christianb suggested but if it is not, then my vote is for a faulty drive. They do that sometimes... It is not a plugging problem since if it was they would crash during the usage as well.

Himm, manualy assigning IRQ's on a PnP OS is a lost cause. I suggest you leave them on auto config, set the PnP Os to yes in the board. Assign IRQ to VGA does not exist on all machines. Here i am using an Asus CUSL2 and it does not have that setting either (i think) since most of the new VGA cards does not require that setting, at least i have not seen anything that does need it for a very long time. Not using IRQ 11 is also no sign of trouble, since it depends on what the OS likes. I just checked out of curiosity and from 3 machines here @ home only 1 is using IRQ 11 for a single device.. all works fine, with full ACPI. But two of the shares IRQ 9 quite heavily. Just a thought. Is the bios holding the settings you make, does it reset if you power down for 5-6 hours? If so it might have a faulty battery, which causes ESCD to reset and OS to find everything new again. If not i am out of ideas. Maybe someone more experienced with finer points of tweaking might be helpful or somebody else who has the same board and problem.

Yep.... 802.11b protocols all the way. and no you can not do it without a wireless access point. The way it works is point to multi point broadcast @2.4 Ghz You can't just stick 2 wireless Nic's and have a network, what would control data transmission there is only 1 freq to work with...

ECC memory on a non-ECC board will just give you nice beeps when you power up. And oh yes they are worth about twice. but nobody will put them in a server. I would rather buy them from crucial just in case they really messed them up and it spikes the server board or so.

Why not P4? saves you a lot of trouble and "heat", and gives you stability!!! They are cheap too. (not as much as athlon) And you definetyely do not need a 2.4GHz. get a 1.4, 1.8 or something

have you modified the permission for the files of that SW or the permissions of the HDD's? If so, find the directory app resides in, uncheck inherit permissions, and then give the user group you wan't whatever level of access you wish. you can put the necessary shortcuts in all users start menu. (right click on Start)

If i remember correctly, you just find the mail containers on the other drive and copy them over the current ones. I have no idea where the containers would be but they are called *.dbx there is inbox.dbx, outbox.dbx etc. try this out. Do not move them just copy them just in case i am wrong.

In my opinion none of the games are extremely fair. In all games, it goes both ways. but you don't see any other team sueing or complaining since they know it is useless i guess. When was the last time a referee changed his decision about a penalty or FIFA canceled a game and had it replayed? Italians are just bad loosers. Or what about one PC decides it is worth the risk for other crimes as well? Like, being drunk, or stealing a banana.
