Hi ! Ok if you want to run in open gl , in windows 2k or xp , i know for sure that you need to edit your .cfg file and you need to add something for your monitor refresh rate there. I don't have bg2 installed , but look in one of the text in your baldur gate 2 directory , and look for the line to add in the cfg related to refresh rate. Hope this help.

HI i tried the new wdm drivers from this site in 2k. I start the upddrv2k.exe and i have a msg saying that the newdev.dll is missing ? And how you install those in 98 ?

Hi , i use a p3 800 with 256 megs cas 222 and a 30 gig maxtor 7200 rpm. I use win 2k prof. only to browse or play games. But my computer use my hd too much , well compared to win 98. I set the pagefile to 384-384 on my c partiton where's the win 2k is. And i have 5 partition of around 6 gigs in fat 32. (c,d,e,f,g) But someone know some tweak for the hd and memory in 2k ? I tried diskeeper to defrag , but iiish , it take's too much time to defrag. The one built in 2k is 3 times faster then diskeeper ? odd. And in win 98 with norton speed disk , it's a lot faster. Well sorry about my english , if you can tell me some tweak , to have the best box in 2k to play games P.s : and after a boot up , i have around 205 megs free.It's seem's ok , but like i said , win 2k still use my swap too often hehe. Hi , thx , cause i searched the net , and founded something about Id 37. Now my problem is fixed. I fixed it with the utility named exctrlst.exe. I stop the errors from occuring by stopping the performance counter for the perfproc.dll and the spooler.

Hi ! In win 98 , i was using norton utilities for that. But i'm new in 2k , and how i can put my pagefile at the beginning of my drive c: like in win98 ? I have a 384/384 pagefile , but well , it seem's stock right in the middle of my c: drive , and i'm sure it slow me a little. I tried diskeeper , but he doesn't move it. Someone can help me out on this one ? Thx a lot...

Hi ! I tried the detonator 6.47 and the latest 10.80 , but i can't play in opengl ? When i do the test in the bgconfig , i see something like a big black square , with some grey around it. But when i select 2d and 32 bits , everything work's great. Someone played it with a geforce 2 in opengl yet ? please tell me which detonator you use , and which setting to put in win2k or in bg2. thx a lot.
