The dealer is a mate and i have already rang him and he dont have a clue, i thought the same thing but it doesnt give me any options to reflash bios by booting to backup bios. I can get into dos but when i do the keyboard is disabled by the computer.

Hi, the last few days my mums computer has started being very strange. While the computers being used, general internet usage,viewing hdd contents. The computer will pause, sometimes lockup but sometimes just pause for 10-30seconds.Very annoying, this problem has only appeared in the last few days,I formatted the C: partition and reinstalled XP Pro on Monday and it was perfect then, running smoothly. Iv checked CPU Temps which are always under 58 degrees C

Defragged all drives, running NAV 7.6 Corporate and my netgear card is plugged into the Cable Modem.

Just look at the way dabs display stuff when you look at categories.One thing with dabs is when you go on there homepage you dont know what to click as theres so many stuff, then look through ebuyer, ebuyer give you there best deals and they give you better descriptions of how the product works,etc and its so much simpler. Ordered a lot of stuff off ebuyer yesterday at about 11:30am and have recieved this morning(next day) at 10:30am and i didnt even pay for next day delivery .

I use NAV Corporate 7.6 aswell and i reckon that its good, especially when up[censored] from the internet as you dont have to restart.

My cousin is using the A7N266-E with an Athlon XP 1800+ and everything seems fine, he has had his for about 3weeks and says its great.

Its not really dabs look of their site, its that their actually way that there site works is extremely confusing.

I have one thing against dabs which isn't really a fault but its there website, its so complicated and really bad to use. There site is very confusing and is ver crowded, Especially when you compare it to ebuyer. Dabs do have excellent customer service, when my Motherboard went dead all of a sudden i sent it back to them and got a refund the next day . I will be ordering my new CPU, UPS, etc from ebuyer tomorrow as they are really good.

I just installed the Detonator 28.32's and notice that the refresh rate problem i had has gone now. Drivers seem ok so far but havent had much time to run any games yet. Not really bothered though as i dont use this PC Much, when i get my new mobo, RAM and CPU for my other computer then i will see if theres any difference between the two, very much dought it really.

I had it running great in XP with the Conquerors Expansion installed, I did however get the same problem when i used it once with Windows ME but ended up Formatting for a different reason and then i installed it again and it worked. There is an update which you can get here though.

Hi guyz, was just wondering what advantage Intel have with there CPU's now that AMD have incorporated SSE Technology into there CPU's. Now that AMD have 3DNow and SSE in there chips Intel CPU's will have no advantages over AMD CPU's, which will make AMD CPU's worth there money by far. I know AMD still dont have SSE2(shouldn't take long to get that)but still AMD have been doing good in the consumer market and now i think maybe that they will become head of the market.

I would give my vote to XP, i prefer it over 2000 when i was running them on dual boot.

while we are on the subject of bad online suppliers can i just say that ebuyer are superb, i ordered a lot of stuff from them and it was here in 2days and also got my Epson C80 which they didnt have in stock and it said on there site 10days waiting and i recieved it in 8days, absolutely superb from ebuyer also my cousin ordered from them and recieved his stuff in 2days, Also there stuff is very cheap. have had no problems with them and will buy from them in the future.

Was just wondering if Microsoft will release IE6 with SP1 for Windows2000/98/ME or will Microsoft do what they decided with Windows Media Player 8, just ignore people running older OS's to try and get them to buy XP? Thanx

Im looking for a replacement to my broken ASUS A7V133A board, A new board must support 8 devices and Athlon XP 1700+, Prefer DDR also. I was looking at ASUS A7V266-E but fancy a change, maybe a board that supports dual Athlon XP's. Thanx guyz

My Asus board went off about 3weeks ago A7V133A w/Raid. just went dead on me while i was out.No fans would get power from the board when connected to the 3pin board connectors. Also no PSU would work when connected to that board, even the psu fan didnt work.This happened with two PSU's i tried and both of them worked downstairs ok. Also my CPU Fan went off at the same time but the motherboard fan on the northbridge worked ok when on another motherboard. So strange, to this day im still puzzled by that board.Should have my new gigabyte ga-7dxr+ board tonight so i can have my own comp back .

It was only 1 year ago that i only had a AMDK6-2 500Mhz with a savage3d 8mb video card an 128MB RAM. Then i bought Max-Payne and thought "maybe i need an upgrade, just a maybe" . Was a damn good machine though.

I am running 27.70 drivers on my gf2 mx200 and was also using it on my gf3ti200 until my mobo f*c*e*d up, drivers are great so far, no bsod's or drop outs.Getting my new gigabyte GA-7DXR+ mobo on thursday hopefully ,cant wait, only problem is i broke my finger on my right hand (it hurts )so im gonna have to install it all with my left hand will take 4ever.

When you update your bios with the newest file does that new file incorporate all the older version updates. like say if an older update inproves WinME stabability and new version lets the board support 2100+ XP Chips does the new one also give the WinME Stabability increase? Thanx

I agree with pimpin 100% there, i have been running XP for ages now and find it excellent after i got drivers and updates. I think it is mainly support from companies. Only thing i have against it is that i cant use the control that came with my WinTV Primio FM Card, so now i have to get off my arse and click mouse buttons.
