I have a 40GB and i have it split up into 5. ok! Xp is so slow at start-up, the harddrive clicks for about 10minutes once its entered XP and i cant do anything while its doing this. iv turned all start-up programs off and its no different.I have XP on a 4.5gb C:\ drive on NTFS, iv installed all windows updates files and still no difference, i wud expect this on a 400mhz maybe but not on a 1.2Ghz. Any ideas guyz? I have an HP keyboard with a volume control turner on the top, which works under ME,2000,XP but not under 98SE.
