What kind of RaM (what brand) do you have installed on your system? I have had those blue screens when I bought a pathetic stick of RAM .. AFter taking it out. everything is stable now

Did you install the AMD agp registry patch?

they're good for basic windows navigation. More precise, which is good for photoshop and stuff of that nature. Gamers have mixed feelings about optical mice.

The dual amd will be interesting to look at granted it will be more expensive than we would like. mainly this stems from how the EV6 bus works with SMP. Supposedly it's better than intel's implementation because each processor gets full acess to the northbridge.

Are you trying to migrate to windows 2000?? If so, I'd recommend a clean install of 2k then install sp2.

Well after reading the snippit from activewin, I re installed service pack 2. Things are going fine right now. A lot of fixes and what not.

go to www.ntcompatible.com if you haven't. They might have a way to make it work like the way they had need for speed 5 work under win2k.

I love windows media player 6.4, the best thing out there in my opinion. I really think that it's all about codecs one installs. Because it seems that an individual is one codec away from playing back that one file he so wanted to get in the first place.

here's another sad truth to the alleged Service pack 2. Check out the register and you'll probably know what I'm talking about.

I would like to place another vote for IE 5.01 with sp2. This thing isn't reputably bloated like ie 5.5. And it does have more security fixes than it.
