What video mode are you playing in ? If direct 3D try running open GL and see if you're problems persist

Sorry Tiny. Well, all I can say is download the separate fix from www.viahardware.com I feel that this one might solve the problem. Also i heard from someone in 2cpu forum to put it in other than pci slot 2

Well everyone's had problems w/ the live card, i mean ..from crackling to games locking up every so now and then. And creative hasn't updated their drivers worth a dime

What procedure did you take in installing the 4 in 1s? Normally it is safest to install them one by one. OH yeah, in games do you have EAx enabled? I remember I tried forcing EAx support in Unreal tournament and I would get those lock ups too. It has to do w/ insufficient driver quality of lw3.

I stuck w/ 5.01 personally because 5.5 seemed a bit bloated to me and it does some funky stuff w/ outlook express as well

all I can think of is run as splitter through say the front jack . and plug in both front and rear plugs into the splitter

hmmm..which computer fair btw?? I go to the ones in pomona, CA. And yeah I came across a bad stick from a computer fair myself .and yeah .the blue screens were random ..pretty random. Try disabling a quick power on self test in the BIOS so that a thorough memory test will take place. could be a bad stick.
