    Win 2K Program Error

Thanks Dan for your suggestion. I used 'dependency walker' but unfortunatly I can't seem to find any files that are related to the suspect screensaver. It looks like I'm going to format the partition thar the corrupt registry is on.

    Win 2K Program Error

I'm running an Athlon 1.4 with 512 Megs of ram. My problem started after I installed and ran a screen saver that I used on my old Win98 machine. Crash. I used the boot disks to get running again but now every time I start up I get a program error message, "explorer.exe has caused errors and will be shut down. An error log has been created." I uninstalled the screen saver but that didn't help. I tried to do the repair option with the boot disks but that didn't work. I think there is something corrupt in my registry but I don't know how to fix it other than formating. I'm really not comfortable with that sort of thing. Does anyone know row to restore a registry beck to normal?
