If you install Windows 2000 Support tools there are a program that allows your apps to think you are running win98,me... I't called running a program in compability mode.. end you find it by right click on a program file, properties and then you got a new menu where you can change the programs behavior in win2k..

You can use MS ramdrive... Boot on a floppy that makes a 300MB ramdrive... install windows on it.. but when it restarts.. the windows are blown away.. to avoid this make a .zip file and zip down all the contents on your ramdrive to it.. and then modify your autoexec.bat so when your computer starts it will unzip windows onto your ramdrive...

If you don-t get any IP adress from your ISP, just try reinstalling the dialup to your ISP.
