hey guys,
here's the intructions for slipstreaming sp2 with win2k:
1)download sp2
2)extract the service pack to dir
3)copy win2k cd to HD
4)x:\sp2\i386\update\update.exe /s ;(:\win2k (:from command line)
*change path to path were you extracted sp2 and were you put your win2k files.
5)now you need to make cd bootable, either obtain boot.bin file for you version of win2k or take your win2k cd and put into drive and make your own boot.bin file.
6)if making your own boot.bin then launch cdrwin and choose extract disks/tracks/sectors utility.
7)extract mode should be set to sectors, sector selection should read
start: 20 end : 20 data mode1 (2048)
8)choose path for boot.bin file, click start
9)now that you have a boot.bin file you need to launch cdrwin's file backup and tools utility.
10)backup tool operation should read Record directories/files directly to an ISO9660 disk(on the fly)
11)add the directory of your slipstreamed win2k files
12)have the following checked:longfile names, recurse subdirectories,
Include Hidden Files, Include System files
13)now select advanced options, volume lable should read W2PFPP_EN for win2kpro, now select bootable disk tab and choose your boot.bin files, Developer name should be "Microsoft Corporation" and Load sector count should be 4.Click ok.
14)burn disk
hope this helps,
