I did the same thing, I installed Liveware3 and it worked just fine. When u install XP, the drivers get a little fussy but all u have to do is uninstall them and reinstall them.

There is no live surround with the new Sound Blaster Driver provided by Microsoft!!!! I have a Klipsh 4.1 Speakers and only 2 speakers are working!!!

U shouldn't install a fresh copy!!! Didn't u had any firewall programs like Fix-it 3, Norton, or Mcaffee, or even 3D programs that use Dongles and huge plugins like 3D Max R3 or R4 in the system??? So that's the cause of the internet!! U should olny uninstall those application and the internet would work fine.
