...includes 'Mother Microsoft's' own spyware (auto-update junk)...better to wait awhile on SP3 as it's *reputed* to have bugs. I can't validate the source of the bug data but since SP2 is ok, why rush into a dark room, so to speak?
If you doubt Microsquat's intentions, download the full patch vice the 'express' version and install from the local domain. The patch solved an RPC problem for me...guess the other bugs just haven't become really evident.
The customer needs animations done in this DOS based dinosaur but in Win2000 the beast won't run from the command prompt. Is there a
work-around or are we stuck in 'dual-boot heaven' due to NT restrictions, again? Any ideas?
