    Memory leak in 2k

No sarcasm. I am just sceptical about RDRAM cause i dont know much about it. If its the same OS in the same configuration the problem seems to point towards a hardware issue. Also i run Win2k pro and win2k Advanced server on 2 IPEX dual P2 180mhz machines. the pro only has 64meg of edo ram, the AS runs 192 meg of EDO ram and neither of them have ever had any problems. However i get more problems with win2k on my P3 700 with 128 meg SDRAM. So i'm just trying to help.....
  4. I get spontaneous reboots as well, they are infrequent but annoying, and usually occurs during realtime strategy games. I run Win2k (SP2) ASUS TNT2 V3800 with Detonator3 Drivers Sounblaster Live! Value PIII 700mhz 128 Meg SDRAM Harmonic DVB adapter (wireless internet) HostBased Modem 3com 10/100 card bjc8200/hp5000c scanner

    HD partision size(s) under Win2000

So long as your using NTFS or FAT32 as your file system there is no need to creat extra partitions like you had to do in the old days with FAT16. NTFS and FAT32 feature smaller cluster sizes which dont change no matter how big the partition is (or up to its limitation anyway. 4TB for ntfs5?) So stick with what you have, thats exactly what i do. Incedently, just food for thought, i have been able to convert my primary partition (the one containing Win2K) from FAT16 to FAT32 to NTFS without any woes.

A long shot. Have you tried re-installing it back on a system that doesnt have RDRAM?

bootable win2k cd with NERO 5.5

You can also use WinImage to create ISO's, although, it doesnt have any custom options. Either way, its a great tool if you handle as many boot disks and cd-roms as i do.
