  1. Don't know what happened, I was playing Everquest, the connection stopped and comes back as normal, becuase of SBLive. The only thing different was when I switch back to the desktop, seeing a error message box popped up and said windows is going to shutdown and counting down from some seconds, then I harry up and when back to Everquest and logout. Computer shutdown and restarted, then bios didn't find my IBM 75GXP 45GB HD. I turned off the computer and power back on agian. It found it, and it went into Win2K. I thought everything was fine and I started to play Everquest again. You know what? It happened again. I did the same steps, but this time it wouldn't boot into Win2k, starting to make some werid noise like it is eating itself and gave me a stop error message with the blue screen of death. Stop: 0x0000007B (0xEF01b84c, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE I booted up the Win2k CD and went to recovery console, it won't even show anything when I type c:\dir. I was able to see my D and E partitions. **I know the HD sounds like it is dead, but I bought it to work and hooked up to my work PC. I can only see my E becuase C and D is NTFS, and I can format my E partition fine, with not werid noise... Well.. I am going to order a new HD I guess... Can you guys help me out? What kind and brand should I get? I was thinking a small like 20GB IBM 60GXP......

    Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000008

Found out something new. My HD was connected to IDE 1 controllor with a ATA 66 cable, but then when I changed to IDE 2 and use the same cable Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000001 was gone. Also, I notice that when I was installing Win2k another message came up right after the CDROM done reading the setup drives. Disk I/O Error Stats = 00008001 Any idea?

    Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000008

Sorry about the wrong subject.. I have a IBM 75gxp 45GB, and partitioned to C:\15GB, D:\15GB, E:\15GB. C and D are NTFS and E is FAT32. I had Win2k on C: before and something when wrong, then I formatted my C: and reinstall Win2k. Right before booting up Win2k, I saw a message "Disk I/O Error Stats = 00000001" on the screen, but Win2k works fine tho. I tired reformat, reinstall and deleted C partition and recreate C. Anyone has any idea? It just bothers me when I see werid message even the PC works fine.
