I used a Dell C610 and a Dell Optiplex GX150. Both Folding@Home of course Jobless atm though so only home pcs 8)

The game is pretty cool, i remember playing it in between watching the video for Buddy Holly (also on the W95 CD)

What gfx card you got? As that demo is made to run on the parhelia, i did have it running once on a gf4, but every time after that it just hard locked the machine. That game is finished with anyway the last i heard.

Windows Update is always pretty horrible for me, pages load fine but when it comes to getting the updates down, it can take a while. Obviously, it must be getting alot of traffic so i can understand why its sometimes slow. I havent bothered with Hotmail since it told me that i had blocked the maximum number of ppl allowed, just too much spam mail for me

Yup, bout 3 hours here as well for the main pc. But i use the command line client, as it takes at least half the time. If you wanna run it, go to the seti site and grab the WinNT command line client. Then, go to http://www.wakeassoc.com/setidriver/ and grab setidriver, which gives the commandline a graphical front end, and sits in the system tray. Its pretty simple to setup and its alot cooler than the graphical interface Ive got my pc 1.6 @ 2.3, a duron 850 and 2x athlon 1.3s and the average is just less than 4 hours for all of them.

Im pretty sure those drivers will fix it, but creative have a stupid queue system in place now, so i doubt you can use an ftp prog to access it. I was gonna stick em on my webspace but im only getting 1kbs upload Anyway, they are also on the europe site and this 1 works http://uk.europe.creative.com/support/drivers/welcome.asp

Is it these drivers your using? http://www.americas.creative.com/support/files/download.asp?Centric=168&OS=6&descID=1296 Sorry to mention it again but i had the exact same prob on my mums pc, with an SBLive 5.1 and these drivers sorted it, along with some other things.

p4 1.6 running at 2.3 or 2.4, 2.4 needs a bit more voltage than i like though so usually 2.3

I beta tested it as well I found it very boring and repetitive, but a couple of my friends really loved it so see if you can give it a go before you buy it

I loved the first 1 and the demo of the 2nd was excellent, ill probably buy it. I have sound probs with the first now for some reason which ive never been able to resolve (stuttering).

Yeah ive noticed that with the bots as well, if you take em on head on, they will shoot at you. But if you just attack em from behind while they are running they dont seem to care, so you can just kill em easily ;(

Yup Eddie The flak cannon has changed The secondary fire doesnt fire anywhere near as far, and the primary shoots in a much tighter area. Suppose they just wanted to make it less powerful. I used to love the minigun as well, with its slow but accurate primary, or the fast but in-accurate secondary. Shame they had to change it And the enforcer and dual enforcer, the list goes on....

Well i was a big fan of the original UT and at first i didnt like 2003 at all. My brother went and got the full version though so ive been playing with that, and the full version is alot better than the demo but i still prefer the original I think they should have kept Assault, left Domination like it was and just not used Bombing Run at all It does have some pretty awesome graphics, especially on the map CTF-Magma, thats very impressive I agree on the weapons, i miss the grenades that the RL fired, now you cant fire any and i would have prefered if the sniper rifle stayed as a normal gun instead of some fancy lightning gun. If they wanted a trail on it they could have just put a trail on the bullets, like a semi-transparent wake. Anyway in my opinion It is good, but just not as good as the first 1
