Anyway the unofficial drivers for the voodoo's 1/2 can't be used in direct3d games (like maxpayne) so forget it, same thing in win2k.

I have windows XP rc1 and that's not the first time i get this problem. When i try to share my pppoe connection with my lan network card (pc to pc without a hub) it says: Error 765: Internet connection sharing cannot be enabled. A lan connection is already configured with the same ip address that is required for automatic ip adressing. Normally it uses 192.168.0.1 and damn, i only have 2 nics configured like this: nic1: internet connection card, 192.168.0.100 nic2: lan connection card, automatic ip pppoe: dynamic ip my last installation of rc1 worked with sharing and now i reinstalled and nothing works i hope somebody can help me, im buying a hub to share my internet anyway, and no, i dont need a router Thanks for help

The heck is that the game has been launched before windows 2000 and i think the demo was after...hehe that's truly sucks, this game is so great

100% agreeing. I still have my old Voodoo2 monster 3d2 from diamond and I don't understand why 3dfx stopped OEM activities...this is always better to have some partnership in business and their last one with STB was a big error (as we know, now 3dfx is dead ) that was not their first big error though; i think of....hum...16 bit only... and hum....external 3d accelerator...a function i hated with windows 2000 with no direct3d...oh and poor driver support...i think about windows 2000 too... 3dfx was the king but a king who don't care about his kingdom...now the king is dead...long live to the queen

I found a game that don't work with windows 2000... Supreme Snowboarding or Boarder Zone (same game) Error message at startup and nothing more... that is for the retail version (even with the latest patche) and worst in this story...the demo version works...hehe

and when i ping 192.168.0.1 i get a timeout, so xp can be stupid sometimes

I everybody, that's my first post on this board, and I hope that's not the last. I installed WinXP 2502 some days ago, and I have an issue I didnt encoutered with WinXP 2486. When I tried to install EZ CD Creator 5 under 2502, the Installed said my Windows version wasnt compatible with EZ CD5. But 2486 was compatible...so what's the problem? I'll be getting 2505 RC1 and I hope it will works...

this mode of transfer is the one used by old hard drives, the ones before the upcoming of ultra dma ones maybe your cdrom is old too, but i dont think with your specs it transfers theorically about 16.6MB/s, like pio mode 4

when I ignore the error message, the installation don't respond after the screen checking Windows Installer version... it really sucks

How you got EZCD5 working with rc1???? when i try it said ezcd5 is not compatible with this version of windows... and I got this label problem too..maybe a bug or incompatibilitie between the filesystems or the program...i dunno...anyway i cant get it working for now...
