According to the techs at Hercules, you can get the Theatre XP to work if you follow the following instructions. (Untried by myself I must admit as I simply haven't had the time to do so yet..) After install, XP improperly recognises the Theatre XP as a Crystal chip set compatible which screws up the sound (Normally you get a buzzing noise instead of sound) Boot up in safe mode, go to hardware devices and remove all instances of *any* sound related drivers (The Crystal or Herc ones) and then reboot into normal mode and install version 2.02 of the Hercules drivers. The sound still isn't perfect but at least it is usuable. Hercules will be releasing proper drivers shortly after XP is released. (allegedly!) Cheers.. Beeb.
