If none of the above fixes your problem try this. http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/13/9/13-9-161.shtml I believe your TCP/IP stack got corrupted somehow. I've used this a few times to repair systems that had spyware/adware screw with everything.

Place a small pagefile on the other hard drive , the one where the OS DOES NOT reside. -

I would just re-install Windows from the cab files. It's not the best solution , but it's worked for me numerous times.

Here's exactly what you do to recover the missing Recycle Bin On Win2K: Type regedit on RUN and then go to this directory in RegEdit.. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\explorer\Desktop\NameSpace. In the left pane, right-click the NameSpace key and select New, Key. Type exactly: {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

Be careful with McAfee.............. we've used it here on our 40+ properties and yes it will tell you when a virus is detected , but will not (in most cases) clean it , delete it or quarantine it. Norton will at least shut down the "service" and do something with it. I use AVG at home and like it a lot. I can't even catch a cold while it's running. :x

I'm not sure.....but ....I don't think you can run Outlook Express with Exchange.

.....forgot limiting leases....good catch sapiens74. 8)

Yes.......... routers are just "smarter switches"......... just please make sure the wireless part is secure ( disable SSID , use WEP or WPA , MAC filtering etc..... ) Just remember that college campus is ripe with idiots trying to "exploit" something.

Most times it is a video driver issue. Go to Nvidia.com and download/install their latest driver. Or check on this site for different versions of a det drivers. Move any PCI cards that you can to other slots (swap them around). If the sound is integrated , try using a PCI soundcard. I had a game that would move at the speed of molasses until I dis-abled onboard sound and installed a soundblaster card.

Yeppers it's ZA............ you might need to un-install ....gut it from the registry and re-install.

What is the proper way to install nvidia video drivers?
ooops replied to RedStar's topic in Hardware
I just install over my previous and too haven't had any problems. BUT !!! BE SURE AND TURN OFF YOUR ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE. That was the only time things didn't seem to be right after up[censored] the drivers...... I had left my Norton AV on , and for whatever reason the install and results were way off. Even Nvidia recommends turning off any AV software during the install.
