i had 2 force the os 2 install newer drivers (12.90) and was able 2 complete the video test. dunno if this wud help u r not, but it's werth a shot.

i don't have the expansion pack, but after installing the game, the video test fails saying there r no video modes and that i need drivers compliant with my version of direct x. odd, that is. i have the g2mx, and the drivers were installed with the os.

bsod? dunno wut that is, but my movies r stuttery when watching them in full screen. mebbe it's cuz of codecs added after install? still can't seem 2 get all video types 2 werk, yet.

dunno how 2 disable it, but u may want 2 set a limit on how much virtual ram ur comp uses, and/or put it on another drive. also, turing off system restore frees up sum space (200-400 mb). those lil pop newbie bubbles r annoying, tho
