    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking it needs to be repartitioned and formatted again. What did you use to partition it? FDISK? Partition Magik? If you used Partition Magik then remember you have to set the partition active.
  2. Ok, I work as a LAN tech for Xerox and we ran into a wonderful little problem last week. Some sales goof at one of our corporate offices decided to install XP (how he added it to the domain we still don't know) after an ALl Exchange email went out stating that NOBODY is to even think about XP let alone install it. Anyway, there are 3 Cisco 5500 series switches at that location and all of them bit the dust thanks to XP. Not sure what exactly happened other than it created a broadcast like we have never seen!! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love XP and I have it running on all my machines at home but beware if you have a 5500 on your LAN! Anyone heard about this? More details as I get them...

    XP won't install

I was reading the other day about someone that burnt a copy of the trial XP and they had similar problems. They put the entire contents of the CD into a folder called "XP" and burnt it to the CD that way, this is what caused the problem. After that reboot it has to get to the d:\i386 directory and it can't do that because the path is changed. Probably isn't your scenario but I figured I would post it anyway.
