Thanks so much for your help. I went through and set everything I disabled to Manual. After rebooting, I still was unable to connect to the internet. I then started the Messenger service, and all of the sudden I had an internet connection. And now the stupid Messenger icon is back in my system tray. Not great, but better than no internet at all. I have the Linksys Wireless USB Nic adapter. It plugs into my USB port, thats it. Its not a PCI or PCMCIA. I just fixed my problems in XP and now everything works great. I think we have different adapters. mine is a WUSB11 - Instant Wireless USB Network Adapter

Hi I got the same USB Nic adapter working under XP using the latest driver from Linksys's website. It was working fine until I started disabling services...now it doesn't work at all.

I had one issue with Office XP activation, so I called Microsoft. They asked for my Activation key, I gave it to them, and they gave me a new key. They also emailed me the key. Easy enough. If this is what they're going to use, we might as well get used to it. Being a new feature, of course there are going to be problems at first. Ease up and wait a bit for them to sink some more money into Product Activation R&D.

I have a GeForce2 GTS and the 12.41 Win2k drivers from Nvidia work great with XP RC1, in both Open GL and DX.

Hi I have a SB Live Platinum 5.1 and it works fine with the default Microsoft drivers from the install. I haven't messed with 3rd party drivers yet, becuase the build ones seem to work OK.
