Brian its fixed mate , runs so sweet XP rocks ......... You can switch WinXP into compatibility mode on a shortcut by shortcut basis for troublesome appz or games. It works like this: You have a game or app that won't run under WinXP, you right click the shortcut and choose properties, compatibility mode. A drop down menu shows you the different modes you can switch to (Win95, Win98, Win2000, WinNT). Pick the one you want and then your program will run. Superb feature. thanks , i updated the drivers and openGL works.... but it still doesnt play properly .......... I was playing and this message popped up " sorry the halflife executable has an error and will close the program" ???? AppName: hl.exe AppVer: 1.1.0.7 ModName: client.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00056603 and then dumped me back to desktop .......... also if i drop the console in CS the game crashes ??

I cant seem to find the ICF at all where is it ?

I run 2K server and today i was running a few things and it crashed ...." dumping physical memory" what causes this to happen ?

Could you tell me how to stop certain applications running at startup please. I have SETI and it runs as soon as i boot and want to stop it... Also that MS office start up too.. in win98 i use msconfig for this but dont know how to do it in win2K... thanks

yes with drive image you can make the size of the images any size you choose.... Can someone help me with this... Win2K server - I install drive image , it says to use Server Magic... so i install server magic......and use the image app from it. go into DOS to make the image , when it asks where to put the image... It can only see a: drive ? I have two other drives on the machine , but they are in fat32 .... is that why Server magic cant see the drives ? and can only see a: ? thanks.... any one got drive image pro to run on 2K server ? ive used it many times on 98 ... and been able to save the image to other drives no problem

I have the same modem... i built a PC using an ABIT MOBO...and the USB never seemed to work right , even with the patches... I now have an ASUS and it runs sweet... I dont think its the modem ... http://www.usbman.com is a good site for sorting USB problems

Hi, Running win2K server... and cannot get PASV MODE ftp to work on the FTP server.... Have tried everything.... is is NAT thats causing the problem... the firewall (zonealrm Pro) isnt blocking it .... Also clients on the LAN cant use PASV mode on their FTP clients. ? thanks
